So I’ve been been seeing these Crux cigars being smoked and the only B&M in Chicago I know that carries them is Jack Scwhartz. Unfortunately, I don’t work at the Chicago Board of Trade anymore and haven’t been able to make it down there, so I had to procure this through trade. I grabbed my Passport and took a ride, here are my thoughts:

1) Good construction, nice burn, easy draw

2) Solid Demi on the strength, but can see it being a Sly for some guys that don’t normally smoke stouter cigars

3) I tasted a little cocoa and some earthiness

4) My smoke time was one hour

Now to the two questions:

1) Would I smoke it again? Yes

2) Would I give it humidor space? Yes

I’m just starting to get into consistently smoking lanceros and I was left very impressed with the Passport. These can be had at a good price and offer a great value with great flavor. I’ll have to smoke it again to say for sure, but at $8 a pop, these are bordering on box worthy territory. If you get a chance to grab a Passport, I encourage you to do so.
