The Nestor Miranda collection is made at the My Father factory and comes available in three different wrappers which include: Connecticut, Habano, and Maduro. I decided to take the Habano for a spin (actually a couple spins before I felt good enough to write a review on it) and here are my thoughts:

1) Good construction, good burn, easy draw

2) I’d say the Habano smoked as a medium-full overall, a little more medium on the front end and more medium-full during the progression. With this in mind, I’m calling it an upper level Demi or lower level Sly depending on your particular tolerance levels.

3) I found this to be a rather peppery smoking experience

4) My smoke time was one hour and ten minutes

Now to the two questions:

Would I smoke it again? No, I’ve smoked it a couple times and I think that will about do it for me

Would I give it humidor space? No

Overall the Nestor Miranda was not a bad cigar and can be had a fair price point. However, the Habano just didn’t hit my palette in a way that I would smoke them again or keep it around in the humidor. I am going to try the Maduro next and will report back my findings in the near future. Until next time friends!
